Los Cerritos Center leans toward the higher end of mall
culture, with a Nordstrom and a decent Robinsons-May featuring an
expansive Origins cosmetics section that opens out into the mall as
if it were its own store. The chafed will appreciate this mall's
abundance of hand-cream- and-bath-gel stores, including The Body
Shop, Bath & Body Works and Garden Botanika. Rebellious suburban
teens will love Hot Topic, a commodified goth paradise stocked with
affordable Doc Marten knockoffs and plenty of pleather.
Be
careful not to get lost on your trip to Nordstrom, as a poorly
conceived mall layout leads the inexperienced visitor into the
occasional dead end. If you're hungry, you'll find a Red Robin, a
Johnny Rockets, and a California Pizza Kitchen, as well as the usual
snacks. For more dining choices, venture outside the mall across
183rd to a complex with a few more restaurants including Acapulco
and Olive Garden. There's also a UA movie theater inside. --
