politics and ideas chosen with a multicultural flair. Its evening
author readings and performances attract big names such as The
Nation columnist Alexander Cockburn and actress/performer CCH
Pounder. There are also evening educational sessions for teachers, a
busy chess league and book clubs. The large, comfortable store
