You won't find any pleather pants at Barnum's of
London, where the clientele consists of dignified, mature women. As
the sister store to Lady Barnum (just down the street), this store
also carries big-name designers such as Liz Claiborne, and more
conservative items appropriate for work or fancy occasions. The
colors of the clothes here are earthy hues -- warm browns, blacks
and olives -- and the styles tend to be flowy skirts and
unstructured jackets. The store also features gold and silver
jewelry to match, as well as a small selection of comfortable
shoes.
